Join me in a live online workshop!
Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 10:00amPT - 1:00pmPT
(Note: Times listed are Pacific Standard Time!!)
Students will love how liberating and fancy free these improv, slash ‘n sew projects are! With no exact 1/4” seams to follow, and tons of tips and tricks from Linda, students will learn the basics of fun improv/wonky piecing and never worry about being exact again! She’ll also teach students the beginning basics of fusible web machine appliqué with these easy to stitch shapes! Students may choose to make either a ModDog, ModCat or ModFish!
First choose which shape you would like to make: a Mini ModDog, ModCat or ModFish. Prior to class, students will need to purchase the pattern for the shape they are making: Mini ModDog, ModCat, or ModFish. A supply list will be forwarded to each student after registration is received. Please Note: This is just an overview - a much more detailed supply list with precut instructions will be emailed after your registration is received.
Sneak Peek of Materials Needed:
We will be making mini versions in the workshop. When completed, projects will range in size from 12"-14" to 16"-18" and can be finished into a small wallhanging or pillow. Please note: we will not be making the entire quilt in class as pictured on the pattern covers. To make a dog, cat or pair of fish, you will need (1) Fat Quarter for the background, a fat quarter sized scrap piece of batting, 1/2 yard fusible web, and (10-14) 2-1/2" x 14" long strips.
